• Chapter Leadership & Legislative Retreat — held annually in Washington, DC. This is a great time to meet with other NAIOP chapter leaders and learn more about how to improve NAIOP Charlotte programs and activities. Additionally, scheduled visits to Capitol Hill offer a time to meet with elected officials on key issues important to our industry. NAIOP Charlotte provides basic reimbursement to all board members attending. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION on the program.
• NAIOP NC Conference – held annually in February/March. Before the conference, the NAIOP Charlotte Board meets with the chapter leadership for NAIOP Raleigh Durham and NAIOP Piedmont Triad.  The conference is put on with the assistance of all three chapters, with the host chapter rotating. In 2025 is Charlotte; in 2026 is the Triad chapter; and in 2027 is the Raleigh Durham chapter.  All chapter leaders are responsible for registering and booking their travel.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION about the conference.
• NAIOP NC Advocacy Days — Visits to Raleigh are vital to NAIOP's mission. Annually, a day is scheduled for visits with state elected officials. Sharing our unique industry perspective helps elected officials better understand developing industries' interests. In 2025, Charlotte will be the location; in 2026, the Triad chapter will be the location; and in 2027, the Raleigh Durham chapter will be the location.
