I’m a Partner focused on ground-up, Class A multifamily and mixed-use communities throughout the Carolinas. PDP is an investment and commercial real estate development firm based in Charlotte, NC.

Career Path: How did you get started in commercial real estate, and what led you to where you are today?

I’ve been around commercial real estate my entire life—my dad founded one of the premier commercial architectural practices in the Southeast, so I got an early introduction to the industry. My journey has included development and design internships while at UNC, a stint in New York focused in capital deployment, and a return to Charlotte to work as a developer with two top-tier commercial development and investment firms. I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with incredible professionals on a wide range of projects throughout my career – and I’m excited for what the future holds!

Multifamily development

Notable Projects/Deals: Can you share a project, transaction, or initiative you’re particularly proud of?

In the past few years I’ve been fortunate to lead several fun and challenging developments in Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham with some personal highlights including NOVEL LoSo Station, NOVEL Cary, and Connery Midfield Station.

Industry Insights: What’s one trend or challenge in commercial real estate that excites or concerns you?

Fluctuating interest rates and tighter capital markets are a concern because they continue to reshape deal feasibility and valuations. At the same time, they push developers and investors to be more disciplined and creative, which can spark real innovation.

Involvement in NAIOP

NAIOP has broadened my professional network, offered valuable educational resources, and created opportunities for industry engagement.
