Alyson CraigAlyson Craig
Assistant City Manager, City of Charlotte

Alyson Craig, who has been with the city since 2018, is best known for helping develop Charlotte’s 2040 plan and unified development ordinance as the city's Planning, Design, and Development director. She previously taught at UNC Charlotte, co-director of the Childress Klein Center for Real Estate and director of the school’s Master of Science in Real Estate program. Craig has worked in real estate development and has degrees from UNC, the University of Georgia, and UNC Charlotte. 

Edmund DriggsCouncilman Ed Driggs
Charlotte City Council

Council Member Driggs has served on the boards of Communities in Schools, WTVI, the National Association of Public Television Stations, Goodwill Industries of Southern Piedmont, the Blumenthal Center for the Performing Arts, the Arts and Science Council, and the North Carolina League of Municipalities and also served as a member of the President’s Council at Central Piedmont Community College.

Larry ShaheenLarry Shaheen
General Counsel, REBIC

Larry has worked in politics, property, and development his entire life. From 2012 to 2018, Larry served as a contract Chief of Staff to NC State Senator Jeff Tarte while also founding Carolina Political Consulting to consult elected officials across the region. While working in politics, Larry assisted in multiple campaigns and advocated for several real estate legislative issues. 

Rob NanfeltRob Nanfelt
Executive Director, REBIC

With over 25 years of experience, Rob has developed a unique ability to understand complex challenges and identify the appropriate solution quickly and is known for efficiently diversifying parties with opposing goals toward common objectives. The foundation for this knowledge was honed by his time as a political Chief of Staff on Capital Hill and a decade-long leadership promoting advocacy for the Colorado Association of Home Builders.
